Our history

Creating links to support patients and improve
the quality of care

MHComm was born out of a meeting between people from the worlds of technology and healthcare to meet a simple but crucial need: to share medical data on patients treated at home with all remote caregivers (hospital, town medicine) in a secure and reliable manner.

Several challenges at the origin of MHCOMM

In addition to this data sharing objective, the other major challenge was to bring a digital medium to the patient’s bedside, allowing caregivers involved in home hospitalization to replace the “paper” patient file, by appropriating a simple and ergonomic communicating file that meets the expectations of doctors, paramedics (nurses, physiotherapists, care assistants, etc.) and pharmacists.

MHComm thus gave birth to the Médigate, a communicating terminal integrating a digital care file, a touch screen (!), a scanner and a compendium of technologies to safely share the right medical information with the right person at the right time, regardless of the distance between the home, the hospital and the town medicine.

A culture of meaning and innovation

These innovations were above all breakthrough innovations in usage, where technology is at the service of the medical profession, designed not in a “tech garage” but at the heart of healthcare with caregivers to strengthen the link with patients at home.

It is always this culture of meaning that drives our teams and allows MHComm to continue to innovate with the ambition of creating links for the quality of care.
